Introductions:
This is a unique and challenging trek to the base camps of five of Pakistan's 8000m peaks, being K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II & Nanga Parbat. It also involves a crossing of the semi-technical Gondorola pass at 5,580m.The trekking route is lined with stunning peaks throughout our journey from Askoli to Concordia. On our walk up the Baltoro glacier we will see the Trango Towers (6,363m), Masherbrum (7,821m), Muztagh Tower (7,283m), Gasherbrum IV (7,925m), K2 (8,611m), Broad Peak (8,051m) and Chogolisa (7,668m) among many others rugged, snow capped peaks.
Concordia, famous in its own right, has been described as the “Throne Room of the Mountain Gods” for its unique 360˚ panorama of 7,000m and 8000m mountains and impressive views of K2. After some time exploring K2 and Broad peak Base Camps, we'll visit Gasherbrum I & II base camps followed by a challenging trek out over the Gondogoro La pass before descending down the beautiful Hushe Valley. We then make our way towards Fairy Meadows and Nanga Parbat Base Camp to complete one of the best treks on our planet.
